James Green is an award-winning social entrepreneur who has been working in public life for over two decades. He's worked for government ministers, successfully lobbied for millions of investment in social housing, and created campaigns that have mobilised thousands, reached millions, and changed the terms of the political debate. James created the UK's first housing incubator, mobilising hundreds of organisations to invent new social businesses which are still going strong five years later. He also built the country's first full-time community incubator, paying local residents a full-time salary to dedicate a year of their lives to inventing new programmes and businesses from scratch. The incubator won the top national award for community work in the £20bn social housing sector.
